Exceptions exist in many states if you order a bottle of wine and want to re-cork it.

Why should a bar owner have to have an outdoor space if he or she wants to allow smoking on the premises of the bar?
Because thems the rules if you wish to allow smoking in a bar in Oregon. It isn't a hard concept, but then again you can't go walking down the street drinking from an open container either.

Sucks not having a choice doesn't it? That aid it's private business decision made by the business and they certainly are not precluded from offering a no smoking venue.

Yes, it does. However, YOUR days of having a choice is coming to a swift and, moreover, grateful end. Remember, YOU and your smoking is in the minority. I am in the majority. MORE people agree with me, then you.

As I said, smoke. Smoke as much as you like; at home. More you smoke, sooner you are going to die, which is mutually beneficial.

Nope. Nobody want's your crappy smoke and it's not "up to the owner" to decide everything when they do business. It's never really been and I find it amusing that people think it ever was.

Again, why do you get the power when you are the ONE causing the nuisance? YOU are the one putting a hazardous and smelly substance in the air! Nope sorry. It's disgusting and the courts side with me. You lose.

I hate perfume, when can I expect the perfume ban?
Really? All you got? Is perfume a carcinogen? Does perfume absorb into clothes? Nope. Try again smoker.

I suppose if I held a gun to your head and forced you to go sky diving or
enter an establishment that allows smoking you may have point however since it's
your choice to participate in either of these activities it's irrelvant.
Yea.... the very fact you have to bring a loaded gun into the conversation only further proves how much you are losing this argument......

Smokers.... seriously what's so hard about only smoking outside when you are outside of your residence? Would you like if I passed gas around your table at the restaurant or bar (like fart and slowly walk around the whole table while directly making eye contact with everyone) every 15 minutes?

Simply put? They are most likely liberal and really don't care about you. They say they do, but so long as they get their way, they could care less if it makes our life worse. THAT is a fact.

The issue is decided the proper way right now, community by community. No one is preventing smokers from going outside, which virtually eliminates the issue of 2nd hand smoke health affects on others.

Oregon has a smoking ban and the bars in Portland are doing just fine, if not better without smoking within them.
So does California, and the bars are doing well too.
