YES including the possible use of force if the Russians do not withdraw. However, I doubt Spineless Barry will ever go that far. 10% of the Crimean population is Muslim which makes it hard to imagine Russia will be able to effectively annex it.

The Ukrainian revolution threatened Putin's intention of creating/sustaining a perception of Russia's greatness with his own people of which at least 15% are Muslim, the second largest religion in Russia.

It's a sign of weakness to invade to maintain political control.

Ground troops need those satellites and communications too. So if they're knocked out, don't see much use for the ground troops.

There is another issue here. Putin, who all the radical conservatives called a "statesman," when Syria was the issue, appears to be going off the deep end.

This is the equivalent of predicting the sun will rise tomorrow.

LOL...when did the world last trust us?

Ask the Kurds about trusting the United States.

Spot on.

But no, I don't want to go over there. Unfortunately, we will have no choice but to leave those people flapping in the wind and far too many of them visiting a gulag.

Invading another nation is a sign of weakness.

Positions go far beyond politics and who is president, at any given time.

-Russia invaded Crimea and takes over capital.
-Russia responds to Crimea's plea for help to defend the ethnic Russians in the area.

Which story is true ?
