It will when Repulicans control the Senate, and Barack Obama is handed his golf clubs and escorted out, and a Republican President can begin the task of undoing the damage of his immediate predecessor.
Jobless "claims" being filed does not mean a lot. Unemployment remains at an all time high, when you consider all unemployed persons (not just those who are still collecting benefits). Many people have given up, and are therefore not included in the UE numbers. They are included in the U-6, which at present is around 13%, if memory serves. That is not something that this administration should be proud of. It is dismal.
The current economy is stagnant. Jobs are not being created, and far too many people are dependent on government welfare for subsistence.
Do you even THINK about what you post?
Let's see, first you claim that UE "remains at an all time high"
Then you say that folks who have given up looking for work are included in the U6 number (you FINALLY say something factually correct)
Then you go on to say the U-6 is around 13% (which again is right).
HOWEVER, the U-6 was over 17% four year ago - so it's CLEARLY not "at an all time high" - and in fact has fallen a LOT.
You can't even make a single post without showing yourself to be wrong.
That is because every bill the house tries to pass includes repealing Obamacare. Republicans have to move on admit they lost this issue and healthcare reform is here to stay.

Well, wait a minute ... you just said I was right on two points. So it isn't an "all time" high. It is still too high, and that figure from four years ago (if correct) was still under this administration.
Layoffs began to happen as soon as the result of the November 2008 election was known. This is because people (and this is factual) knew what was coming, because Barack Obama made it clear in his campaign what he intended to do. People aren't stupid. They began to downsize immediately. They took Obama at his word. Bottom line: that 17% figure cannot be blamed on Bush!
Sure. Because as we all know it Republican president, GW Bush left this country in top shape while everybody was asking for four more years of republican rule...

Both the number of unemployed persons (10.5 million) and the unemployment
rate (6.7 percent) changed little in February. The jobless rate has shown
little movement since December. Over the year, the number of unemployed
persons and the unemployment rate were down by 1.6 million and 1.0
percentage point, respectively. (See table A-1.)
Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (6.4
percent), adult women (5.9 percent), teenagers (21.4 percent), whites (5.8
percent), blacks (12.0 percent), and Hispanics (8.1 percent) showed little
or no change in February. The jobless rate for Asians was 6.0 percent (not
seasonally adjusted), about unchanged over the year. (See tables A-1, A-2,
and A-3.)
The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more) increased by 203,000 in February to 3.8 million; these individuals accounted for 37.0 percent of the unemployed. The number of long-term unemployed
was down by 901,000 over the year. (See table A-12.)
Both the civilian labor force participation rate (63.0 percent) (the lowest in 35 years) and the
employment-population ratio (58.8 percent) were unchanged in February. The labor force participation rate was down 0.5 percentage point from a year ago, while the employment-population ratio was little changed over the year.
But don't let the facts interrupt your premature celebration, over a surprise of +16,000 jobs. I guess a small win is better than what progressives have had over the last years.

Okay, so what you're saying is... it's Bush's fault?
GWB the excuse that just keeps giving. Too bad the rest of the country isn't listening to that excuse anymore.
Reagan was always a pro-war hawk, but only on defenseless countries.
Whatever he did, I'll take again. It was my generations "Happy Days" after the malaise that Carter left us in. I'd say that millions of Yuppies would agree.
