I agree, not everyone should be armed. The father didn't do anything wrong though, so if that is what you are getting at, I disagree.

Control over one's teenage children is a common hopeful fantasy shared by most parents.

Where were the girl's parents when she let the boy into her room?

You do seem confused, Serbs are Orthodox, Croatians are often Catholic. But,if you are going to make a raw statement that it has been hundreds of years since xtians slaughtered other religions may I remind you of Iraq. Good god your president gave a medal to the captain of the USS Vincennes for shooting down a Iranian airliner. Any other Navy he would have been fired that week.

This seems to be an honor killing more than self defense, this story is full of hole

I really do not believe his story about the kid reaching for something in the first place since it would be a convienent excuse to shoot someone and not go to jail.
Well it's a good thing the system doesn't work that way. You don't get to just decide what parts you want to believe and what parts you don't want to believe based on nothing but your own pre concieved notions.

I guess he won't be making it into work anymore. Per his Facebook page, he "works at snorting lines off the bible".

So you think there are no reasons other than "the good book" to practice abstinence and/or be selective and conservative about who you sleep with?

LOL, no wonder the world is in the shape it's in....

There is nothing in the system that says you have to believe a defendant's version of events. You can even find a defendant's story wholly incredible and convict him on that basis. That happens all the time.

Uhhhh, when you've been told there is someone in your daughters room in the middle of the night, you don't sneak up and put a water glass to the door and start listening, you go find out what's going on...
