How come Putin invading Crimea was such a surprise? Why was Edward Snowden able to do what he did? Nothing on Malaysia Flight 370? Nothing on Egypt or Syria? NSA phone records on Benghazi?
I'm thinking they can tell us about Merkel's pizza delivery orders but not Putin's Crimea orders.
By their own admission, just about a month ago, it has never worked.
They had to testify in a court about the benefits of continuing to collect so much data and they couldnt cite one attack which was stopped because of it.
we are never going to get the truth about the NSA and its spying programs, because if they do ever give out information about successful efforts, our enemies can then figure out how they were found out and then change their communications operations.
besides, the programs are not fully about stopping terrorists, but more about gathering information about everybody they can gather information about, and storing it for future possible use.
yep, and the government has been spying for much longer than that.
