A third of Americans without health insurance intend to stay that way, according to a new report. Although the most common reason for doing without coverage is the expense, 70 percent of those planning to stay uninsured did not know about the subsidies afforded under Obamacare that reduce the cost.

It should read "subsidies paid for by other Americans you are struggling to feed their own family and keep a roof of their own head."

That's the exact reason I don't want it. Well, that and I don't need it. And I don't want to be told that I have to have health insurance.

So, if you don't have health insurance and get hit by a car or get cancer, you want other Americans to pay for it?

Yep.

My aunt's situation is a classic example. She was living in a common law type arrangement with a guy for many years who was a major tea party type. Bought a cabin in North Carolina "just in case," tea party rallies, the whole shebang.

My aunt was ultimately diagnosed with cancer, after months of not going to the doctor because it was too expensive and she couldn't afford it (and because she didn't have insurance, having been laid off).

When the treatment bills were looming, the horrible tea-bagger boyfriend was suddenly ALL ABOUT getting her onto social security and Medicaid ASAP! Couldn't happen fast enough because of course, suddenly it meant he might have to help pay some bills.

With Obamacare no one even has to pay upfront, you can just sign up when ever you want no matter the pre existing conditions, what a great systems the democrats put in place.

So you think people should be denied based on pre-existing conditions?

Yeah, how awful for you. It must be terrible not having to wonder if your insurer's going to try to use your teenage acne as an excuse to shaft you. I wish I had to worry about that.

Why do you folks make up crap all the time. It really is ridiculous and can bee seen a mile away when you start spouting the "tea party" nonsense.
