I understand that Google and Youtube are a private company and they can have whatever the hell content they want on their servers. However this is one of those makes you go hmmmmmm items.
Don't expect any objective and consistent input from the CD bleeding heart psychopaths....they have no problem marginalizing an inalienable right if it gets in the way of their agenda.
Well of course not. I never expected anything less from the *******s or the conservatards on this board. Of which I've pissed off both at one time or another.
Mark Dice seems to be kinda of a illuminati nutjob to me but his man on the street videos really put the spotlight on the idiots voting for Onumbnuts and other lefties.
This falls right in line with the crimminality of the IRS, FCC and DOJ working hard to intimidate and suppress the vote come this November again not that it needs much help given the idiocy of the Republican party lately.

He's the guy that does all those man on the street interviews that show dumbassed Obama loving liberals in all their glory.
Google and Youtube are really the same company. It is not a private company. It is publicly held, at 85% institutional ownership. Might want to go research In-Q-Tel and Keyhole, as well.
This has been part of an ongoing trend. Copyright claims seems to be used the most.

Look who is warning us again about the great harm conspiracy theories are doing to the minds of impressionable citizens everywhere: Cass Sunstein has emerged at Bloomberg, to once again plead for 'correction' of the many conspiracy theories that are disseminated on that pesky new medium, the intertubes, seemingly without inhibition. Contrary to the infamous paper in which he described how to precisely combat the spreading of false information that lacks the government's seal of approval, he doesn't list his favored censorship and disinformation techniques outright this time, but it is certainly implied that 'something must be done'.

Private meaning not a government entity. I own shares of Google stock through Vangard Group which is Googles 2nd largest Institutional Holder.

The distinction is important. Many people have a particular idea about "private" and "public", which does not appear to be reflected in reality. The financial markets have changed a great deal over the years, as well. Youtube was bought very quickly and is technically a subsidiary (LLC).
FMR seems to beat them by a bit here, however, Vanguard like many of the other familiar names, State Street, BlackRock etc... is a regular.
