Now that is funny! US murder rate is 65 times higher than Canada's, and most use guns.
What would be even funnier is if you took out gang releated killings and susicides, the rate would drop dramatically....but that would not benifit the anti gun folks now...would it....
The man has a right to defend his property . the trespassers were clearly breaking the law having ignored the no trespassing signs, Who knows what their intensions are willing to break one law why not another and another .
The loss of a beloved animal heightens the issue proving carelessness of the intruders.
'the farmer depends on his animals for a living and they are jeopardizing his living.
the farmer has every reason to believe the intruders are a danger .
Yeah! Who knows? Better shoot them just in case they might scare you later.
And you'll note that this guy had to chase them down. Hard to make an argument you're defending yourself against someone when you have to chase them down to do it.
