March. 24 (UPI) -- A bill proposed in Massachusetts would prevent divorcing parents from getting busy in their bedrooms at home until they've handled their business in court.
Sen. Richard J. Ross of Wrentham proposed legislation, Bill 787, that would prohibit the divorcing parent from having sex in their home until all legal proceedings are finished.

The Senator doesn't support the bill. He presented the legislation at the request of one of his constituents, and it was written by that constituent. Massachusetts law allows legislators to introduce constituent-initiated legislation to the legislature for consideration.

glad someone else read the article. it also has no penalty, and will likely be voted down anyways.

So he's purposefully wasting the taxpayers money and the legislature's time by presenting a bill even he will vote against? That doesn't make it any better. Wonder how much money the constituent gave his campaign to get him to pull this silly stunt.

Its how government operates, don't question it, you may be considered a terrorist.

A TAXPAYER wanted the legislature to consider this proposal. The law in Massachusetts gives TAXPAYERS a direct route to the legislature. I don't think that's a waste of time or money.
