lol, if you say so after all democrats are doing such a great job. That nearly 73 percent of African Americans are currently born out of wedlock, 67 percent living in single parent homes, is nothing short of disastrous.

And all this during the administration of our first black president. The level of hypocrisy is astronomical.

What everyone is pointing out to the two of you is that those Democrats at that time who opposed it were CONSERVATIVES like you.
Aww, the Democrats were "conservative". That's sooo cute. Do you expect us to believe in the Tooth Fairy, too?

And they would do better with the Republicans? No they would do far worse.

Also the majority of those on welfare, single parent homes, born out of wedlock are whites.

Yea republicans don't buy votes. At least with Democrats they are paid with Obamaphones.

All these social welfare programs, affirmative actions, etc. signal to blacks that they are inferior. Democrats tell the world that blacks can't even complete a one page voter registration form.

Democrats tell the world that blacks somehow couldn’t make it without help. This became a self-fulfilling prophecy, a kind of mass Stockholm Syndrome. And, quite naturally, it engendered a great deal of anger.

Do you want everyone to believe what Democrats are peddling?

No, they would do better with conservatives. As more and more of them (and others) are nowadays.

It makes perfect sense that a black American who is essentially happy is going to be less attracted to the Left. Anyone who has interacted with black conservatives rarely encounters an angry, unhappy person. Why?

Because the liberal view on race is that America is a racist society. It is very hard, if not impossible, to be a happy person while believing that society is out to hurt you. So, the unhappy black person will gravitate to liberalism and liberalism will in turn make him more unhappy by reinforcing his view that he is a victim.

And yet voting records show that Republicans are more likely to vote for a black candidate than Democrats are.
LOL!!!! No such records exist!

Why the Republican Push for Black Voters Is (Mostly) Doomed to Fail - Peter Beinart - The Atlantic

Texas Tea Partier: GOP Does Not Want Black People To Vote Unless They Vote Republican

Want black votes, GOP? Listen to black voters - CNN.com

"a prominent black Republican in Illinois told me about a presentation a few years ago with party elders about how they could attract black voters. When it was all done, this Republican said, the first comment from the floor was, "We are not going to support welfare."
The group of black Republicans was puzzled: "We didn't even bring up welfare. What are you talking about?"
The GOP apparently has the idea that minorities don't care about education, taxes, entrepreneurship, homeownership, and a litany of other issues."
