They have the authority, maybe some don't like it but there needs to be a certain amount of control, rational people understand the need but the far right thinks we should just have chaos and things will some how work themselves out. People on the honor system never seem to work. So what's the alternative if we did away with all these federal agencies that supposedly don't belong.

That's a self-defeating point if you ask me.
Yeah not all fools end up being right, but not all of them end up being wrong either...
Reagan was a clown, he made amnesty en vogue, further obliterated the budget and expanded the national deficit and started an unlawful war on drugs.
Anything he did related to the BLM in that fashion isn't a surprise.
He was more or less a statist as well, he isn't anything I would consider in a good candidate then or now.
