It's actually called "Selective Global Warming". Here in N.C. it's 75 degrees. The solution is easy. We'll just send our polar bears to Oklahoma for the winter.

I'm not a global warming proponent, but you do know the difference between weather and climate, right?

If it's 60 degrees for 2 weeks in January, are you going to make a thread about that, too?

Sure why not, I remember one year a couple of days after Christmas it was in the 80 some degrees in Pennsylvania, that was back in 1984, was their a Planetary emergency then?

My response was directed at the OP.

I recall the 06-07 winter starting similar to this one. There was cold weather at the start, but overall, it was very mild for most of the nation.
