Since when have black men given a damn about minority children? If black men cared about minority children we wouldn't be dealing with half of the issues we talk about here daily.
Your data and statistics don't denote oppression. Sorry.
So, if Blacks' and Hispanics' lower than expected academic achievement isn't oppression according to you, your opinion is that Blacks' and Hispanics' cognitive functioning is actually inferior? Wow. That's a stunning admission on your part.
Others aren't so lucky. Won't you please think about them? ...
So you actually think that Democrats are purposely keeping blacks and Hispanics dumb and poor as a part of a grander scheme to oppress the citizens of this country?
Sigh.
It's almost like you have ignore the data that showed how statistics since the 60s have improved across the board for blacks and Hispanics. And the trend continues to improve. You speak of vouchers as if that is the end all be all and that is such a myopic approach to the larger picture of education in this country. Yes, in some situations vouchers may help but what about the rest of situations?
Seriously, I'm a white guy raising a minority adopted child along with my white kids and I see black men giving me a look of complete confusion all the time when they see my wife and I with our kids. Black men look at my child like they've never seen a man with a child of color before, like they don't even comprehend the idea of taking care of your children instead of hauling ass before they're born.

Um really? It's more like they are surprised at seeing a white guy caring for a "child of color" not at the idea of a man taking care of their child.

Please, you are better than that.
I used to believe that but I don't believe it any more. I get looks of complete confusion, like a guy actually taking care of their child (even my natural born white kids) is just the most foreign concept ever.
