If you like your standing in life, keep doing the same thing over and over again.

Actually if you go by the numbers 51% of people with just college degrees went for Romney while 47% went for Obama they made up 29% of the electorate. Among people with Advanced degrees Masters, JD, Ph.D. MD etc. They went to Obama by 55%-42% and made up 18% of the electorate.

This is from the CNN exit poll.

Presidential Race - 2012 Election Center - Elections & Politics from CNN.com

Now doing some simple math 29%+18%=47% which means 29/47 is about 61.7% thus 61.7% of those with a college degree had just a college degree and 38.3% also had or are working on a masters degree or higher. (Now note some of the people who have identified as "college graduate" may simply have associates degrees but for this purpose lets assume they have bachelors degrees.)

Now lets figure out how this actually breaks down. so for % that voted for Romney multiply .51*.617 and .42 * .383 add the answers and you get 47.4%. Then for Obama multiply .47 * .617 and .55 * .383 and you get basically 50% thus among college graduates Obama beat Romney 50%-47.4%

Post Grad: 55 Obama, 42 Romney (18% of the vote)

Obama voters with college degree = 23.53% of the vote
Romney voters with college degree =22.35% of the vote

More college degrees voted for Obama than Romney.
Nope, It's 29% for Romney vs. 18% of the voters for Obama when you look at college degrees (both categories) There are way more non post grad college educated voters out there.

It won't happen, atleast it our life times it won't. Rather than admit that the totality of Democratic policies have failed the black community in this day and age, there seems to be a grassroots movement for "reparations." Black Democrats have gone from blaming Republicans, who are no longer in power, to blaming "history" for the current circumstances.

Black People have voted majority Democratic for about 80 years now.

His is the last time 2 white men where on the Ballot.

John Kerry got 88% of the black vote, at best, your argument is that 7% of black people only voted for President Obama because of his skin color.

This is the 2000 exit poll, it shows Gore with 90%

Why are do we continue to have these post where you claim black people only voted for Barack Because he is black when it is clear black people simply vote Democratic.

Why are you choosing to race bait ?????

I'm just thankful that we were actually able to elect a Black President, who in the past 5.5 years was able to make the past 40 years of problems within the black community virtually disappear. Employment is up, standard of living is up, college education is up, teen pregnancy rates are down, STD infections are going down, crime is gowing down.

I rarely hear Black commentators talk about how well their voting democratic has help them in the last 40 years. To most Black writers, history starts at 1619 and ends around 1964. Seems like liberals, both black and white, have dominated racial policies for the last 50 years or so, but again to Black commentators...that's not history.

I'm not race baiting, I'm just taking people at their word. When you say you voted for a man because he's black I believe you.

The Majority of black people in this nation live in red states. This has nothing to do with Democratic rule. Also never mind the fact that there are more white kids born out of wedlock than black if you used your statistic, and the fact that the word wedlock simply means not married. My great grand parents lived together for 50 years and never got married.

I voted Republican in 2004, and guess what, it didn't improve my standing in life. Didn't help me one bit. You know what I've learned over the past few elections. It doesn't matter who I vote for. My father is a hardline Democrat, and he is doing quite well for himself.
