Blacks are just doing what they can do make money, make ends meet, and actually have work. I had an interview with a government sector position a few weeks ago. I also had an interview with my alma mater last week. Last time I checked, the "government" sector seems more willing to take a chance on me than the private sector. And if that is the case, then I'm going to take what I can get. As long as I'm not on food stamps or welfare, then no one has a right to complain.

At the end of the day, I care about being able to support myself and make money.

Assumption being that the reason blacks don't get hired is white racism.

Big assumption!

You don't see a problem with a government that prohibits racism practicing racism?

To have a voice within either party you have to be in the party in first Place. Every few people are actually party member who vote representative to platform committee. That is who set the party platform. most people just vote for a party based o what they think. Blacks long ago decided to vote democratic. I can not even say the OP understands what a conservative by his writing, its basically for a smaller federal government ;not a every expanding one. Has very little to do with culture as many culture are involved I each party and that is their business not governments. Nationally I see very few blacks conservative leaders and in fact most are very liberal meaningg the want a ever expanding role of government to control production and fruits of that production. Larger federal government in control ;plain and simple. Black elect or appoint those leaders so that is what you get other than individuals at about 5% last election.

Anecdotal evidence.

Just wondering, what do you do for a living? Congrats on escaping the never ending hell of poverty...

Fine do you want my to explain why I support my view points?

Fine

I grew in the lower middle class after the implosion of my fathers business ventures, my father who the son of a judge in Utah could have been a personal injury attorney had he taken the bar, he did not sighting he "Did not want become his father"(which is such BS, he was a great man, very wealthy, very kind, he saved at least 5 men from a fire on his ship during WW2, why anyone would not want to be like this man is beyond me).

Then he left us in Feb 2001 for the next 9-10 years..He was in Costa Rica with some of his friends operating online pharmacies, making money on a few tourist oriented businesses (And allegedly a very high end bordello for clients...Allegedly) For the next 10 years he made lost of money unable to start a amount due to the fact of his passport had expired and he fear if he renewed it he would be arrested(which is such non sense not paying children support is the last thing officials at the embassy or the police in costa rica care about..Especially after 9/111)

So when he had his stroke his partners took the money and disappeared...What can I say the man knew how to succeed but never knew when to put in a safety net..Had a stoke and we found out he was alive and we fly him back home..He later died Christmas Eve 2009

During those years I had privilege of seeing the hard, cruel facts of life close up, with out any really refuge.

I had the best school in the world, The School of Hard Knocks....Which is if you can look, listen, and learn you get a really good education, it might be soul crashing, sanity shattering, emotionally numbing, but very very very rewarding...

Growing up with a single mom, the cost of living was something that we had to deal with, every time gas went up, food went up, so did clothing, and well pretty much everything else....Needless to say lower is always better..

I had the privilege of living in some of the greatest areas of North Las Vegas...It was such a education..Such a eye opening experience...To see how other people live, their mind set, their values...Why they are where they are...Hearing the blasting rap music at 3 AM, only to hear people scream and yelling, fighting it other, smashing bottles, screaming in pain then hearing them right out side your window, knowing full well that what ever happens there is nothing you or your mom can do to keep you safe and repel these parasites...only a few minutes later to hearing a police helicopter circle the area bathing it is a powerful spot light that would illuminate all that should stay hidden in the blinding embrace of darkness...

I remember during the start of the Iraq war, that night their was a fight between some Hispanics and a few black people..just punching and kicking each other, then about 2 mins into this brawl one of the man across the court yard an Arab guy by the name of Mr Hajjar(Who I later found out was Iraqi who fled Iraqi after the Gulf War) came out and in celebration he fired off a few rounds from a Semi Auto AK rifle(Both as celebration his former Commander in Chief was about to get the ass kicking he deserved by he was tried of those morons and their fights)...It was great watch that group of morons just running away...They never again tried anything....To this day I thank that man for putting is foot down...

Around late 2003 we move from the horrid apartments in North Las Vegas to the our current house that we now own..

Things were OK until the housing market bubble popped, a few house in the area have become section 8 and the ghetto culture has spilled into our area yet again which with a welfare office that opened up about 2 years after we moved in it was a one two punch...Once great schools now just day cares for the urban youth and those who wish to learn are trapped in room with these who wish to disrupt and destroy.

The kids of illegals were the worst...
Seeing them spit on the American flag during their immigration protest, some actually setting it on fire outside of the school, my First Sergeant at ROTC stood there, with that look that said "If it was not for my need of this job, I would beat that kid to with in a inch of his life"...He should great restraint, restraint that I can see I may not have shown.

Ripping up the US Constitution, Screaming "Kill the White people, take back the South West"

"Disarm and kill the White People!"

Needless to say this really makes a person secure borders and a even stronger believer in The Right To Keep and Bear Arms..

I was planning to enlist in the Marine Corp, but after Barrack Obama won the 2008 election, I will be honest I did not want to serve this nation if it would elect a man who I thought at that time was incompetent, inexperienced, and has values, views, and beliefs that are harmful to this nation and its people...In the last 6 years his actions have only vindicated this belief.

I have left out a great deal of things, events, and lesson in the sake of time...

I have worked a few jobs, but I am going into security this summer as to fund a few of my business ideas, when not if but when they take off I plan to go to school (Now that my finances being taken care of) for Business and software, start a few companies in marketing, software, Natural Gas,, sell a few off and living off the income/dividends of the major profit powerhouse while having others run them for me..

It was a great education to see the world as it is, and have such a vast understanding at such a young age...Was it worth it? Yes .Would I do it over again? Yes...Did it leave me with a lack of a childhood filled with joy and happiness? Of Course...I Can Sit mad at my father for pissing everything away(which I am still sum what, who would not be?) or I can lift myself up to prosperity and the wondrous joys it can provide...

That is why I support the following

Secured borders and deporting not rewarding illegal immigrate...
Using America`s Oil and Natural Gas to reduce the cost of energy and create millions of great paying jobs.
School Vouchers, Charter Schools, And School Choice.
And the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and keeping it uninfringed.
Capping Regulation and taxes as not to destroy the wealth of the citizenry.

My upbringing shaped me, It forced me to grow up very fast and see the world and how it works, not how I wish it was and wish it did...

It was a blast furnace of intense heat and pressure that had take in a piece of young Iron, only to treat it and make it under pressure and heat and struggle and challenge into a piece of Steel, freed from its imperfections and refined into a a great person capable of taking on any challenge, impervious to the elements of life...

Prove to me racism doesn't cause such issues.

At the end of the day, I'm looking out for me and what I need.

I'm glad you put shrink the size of government in quotes though. Conservatives have no problem with big government when it lines their pocketbooks or asserts their moral agenda.
Or when it infringes on our rights or freedoms as citizens.

How is that an assumption? We see that in the private sector Blacks, especially males, even college-educated males, are hired at rates far lower than their representation in society, but you assert that racism is not a factor.

How else would you explain it? Please refrain from idiotic racist right-wing boilerplate about how black people don't want to work and expect handouts. I'm not in the mood for such barnyard detritus.

Hey, nice source for the "liberals are super smart" thing there OP!

Anyways, I never got around to the article itself which starts off with a completely bassackwards description of a liberal.

"It is difficult to define a whole school of political ideology precisely, but one may reasonably define liberalism (as opposed to conservatism) in the contemporary United States as the genuine concern for the welfare of genetically unrelated others and the willingness to contribute larger proportions of private resources for the welfare of such others."

What he describes is actually a conservative and more specifically an evangelical Christian.

"Although liberal families' incomes average 6 percent higher than those of conservative families, conservative-headed households give, on average, 30 percent more to charity than the average liberal-headed household ($1,600 per year vs. $1,227).
-- Conservatives also donate more time and give more blood.
-- Residents of the states that voted for John Kerry in 2004 gave smaller percentages of their incomes to charity than did residents of states that voted for George Bush.
-- Bush carried 24 of the 25 states where charitable giving was above average.
-- In the 10 reddest states, in which Bush got more than 60 percent majorities, the average percentage of personal income donated to charity was 3.5. Residents of the bluest states, which gave Bush less than 40 percent, donated just 1.9 percent.
-- People who reject the idea that "government has a responsibility to reduce income inequality" give an average of four times more than people who accept that proposition.
Brooks demonstrates a correlation between charitable behavior and "the values that lie beneath" liberal and conservative labels. Two influences on charitable behavior are religion and attitudes about the proper role of government.
The single biggest predictor of someone's altruism, Willett says, is religion. It increasingly correlates with conservative political affiliations because, as Brooks' book says, "the percentage of self-described Democrats who say they have 'no religion' has more than quadrupled since the early 1970s." America is largely divided between religious givers and secular nongivers"

1. The Constitution actually calls for a postal service. if you are against the very existence of the "The Fed", then you should be against getting rid of the postal service as a governmental entity.

2. The postal service is not losing money, that is a myth. One that has been dispelled plenty times over.
