And the left, along with their Gay Mafia comrades cheer!

Quote:
HOUSTON, Texas—Houston’s bathrooms, showers, and dressing facilities will now be open to all, regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, or other predilection of gender behavior.

By an 11-6 vote of the Houston City Council, Mayor Annise Parker achieved this as the crowning jewel of her tenure as mayor.

Mayor Parker, Houston’s first openly gay mayor, said passing this ordinance was not the most important thing she has done in office, according to an article in the Fairfield Citizen, but it is the “most personally meaningful thing I will ever do as mayor.”

Houston Council Member, At Large Position 3, Michael Kubosh took exception to this. Kubosh told KPRC TV, "It's going to criminalize people that have been found in violation in the ordinance and the fine could be between $500 to $5,000."

Hey, sounds good to me. Think I'll book a plane ticket and take a shower at one of their fine women's colleges.

I read the article and the linked article that was apparently the source. As far as I can tell, the claim that this has anything to do with opening bathrooms, showers, etc. to members of the opposite sex is a total lie, and I will continue to believe that until the OP or someone else can show me the language of the ordinance that requires it.

Total lies and bullshat. Houston's new Equal Rights Ordinance has nothing to do with restrooms.

The ordinance will ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as race, sex, religion, national origin and veteran status. No mention of restrooms.

Oddly enough, if you look up Houston's Equal Rights Ordinance on an actual news site, you will find that the the long list of "whereas" that leads into the actual ordinance says absolutely *nothing* about who gets to use public public restrooms. Neither does the ordinance itself.

Why the horrified fixation on restrooms?

Most public restrooms already allow a person of the usually excluded gender to help disabled persons or small children. Yet, the world has not ended .

That tends to be common for Breitbart, it is basically on the same level as the National Enquirer.

Because it's always entertaining watching self-Righteous heads explode.

Now we're waiting for you to defend the thread title "Houston Mayor Forces All to Open Girls Rooms to Men" when the linked article says no such thing.
