The other day I heard the highest valued sports franchise in America was the Dallas Cowboys, at $500 million dollars. Of the highest valued sports teams in the world, the Cowboys are fourth, behind three soccer clubs from Europe. The highest value was placed on Manchester United, at $739 million dollars, I believe.

So it's worth noting that the price for this team is ridiculous. Talk about over spending, is anyone sure the Pentagon didn't buy this team?

There is the potential for the other 27 NBA owners to pay Sterling damages in excess of $40 Million EACH...plus they'll be spending millions in attorney fees.

Donald Sterling and his legal team are excellent chess players!

PS - The two [so-called] experts who claim that Donald Sterling has AD better get their legal team ready too!

Next!

Are the Clippers worth $2B. No, they aren't.

That's merely the cost of what it takes to satisfy the ego of some billionaires who just have to get into the world of big-league sports.

Compared to the battery it high-powered attorneys the NBA has on their payroll, they're playing tic-tac-toe.

Keep in mind that Sterling was, in essence, successfully sued for anti-discrimination policies. All his wealth couldn't get him off the hook. He paid up.

You're going to have to find someone more competent to fight your race war for you.

marketing skills of any other league and the Lottery for the top pick?

Yeah he made some stupid comments and then got railroaded by the PC police..but in the end, he's the
winner. The NBA is looking more and more like the dumb asses here.

The fan base in LA is very Lakers heavy and Clippers light. They have to share a basketball court with the Lakers. The Clippers have been the Los Angeles BB team that everybody forgets about or ignores for forever. A move to Seattle where they aren't competing with the Lakers for fans would actually be a very smart move.
