This is nothing more than Obama's insidious attempt to liquidate Gitmo by any means necessary. He could care less that these 5 muslim terrorists (double adjective, I know), go out and kill 500 Americans. At least they are out of Gitmo.
You now, he's gone through 5 years as POW in Afghanistan. Plus the media has started to shed light on this guy's shady background so his name and his family's name will be dragged through the mud before the whole thing blows over. Isn't that punishment enough?

No, not for the six lives lost searching for his sorry azz.
Plus the Taliban described him as a "valued guest" what ever the hell that implies, so don't think he had it to rough.

Punishment enough? Try to justify that to the parents, wives, sons and daughters of the men who died trying to rescue this guy.
It would be even worse if it is discovered that he gave up a whole bunch of information to the Taliban as troops on the ground reported that after he was captured, the IED's and various tactics used by the Taliban became a lot more elaborate and exceedingly more effective and efficient. I'd like to think that is the result of having all those people out and about looking for him but if he did give up operational tactics and other information that they could have used to make their attacks more lethal, there's no salvation for this guy ever as far as I'm concerned.
Almost all of the military personnel I know on Facebook have been howling over this.
Even if he was legitimately captured, we have dealt five of the most senior Taliban commanders for him. If these were low level personnel, that would have been one thing, but to trade strategically significant commanders for someone who is not strategically significant is a grave error.
