You should know that UN policy is set by the UN Security Council not the General Assembly and the USA will back Israel even is its policies towards the Palestinians are irrational. This is why the UN has never been able to apply sanctions to Israel when ever it has launched agressions against its neigbors, for introducing nuclear weapons to the Middle East (Israel also has chemical and very likely biological weapons for just in case) or violated the Geneva Conventions regarding the treatment of people under occupation.

The General Assembly can refuse to accept a state's credentials in its own body, can it not?

Every party, group, government or religion in the Middle East claims to be the right one and pushes their radical objectives with spies, bombs, tanks, propaganda, and indoctrination. Racially all of them belong to the semitic race, btw.

It's not that there's hate. It's more the lack of sympathy for these subsidized, constructed nations and their truly weird methods to run them.
This.

If you're going to quote a resolution, then you should have included that it was only a set of principles which came out while Isreal was AT war with numerous Arab countries. And you also left out that all the Arab countries in the UN at the time voted against it.

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 194 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And furthermore under Security Council Resolution 273 there was no mention of it.

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 273 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And there was no Resolutions between them that related to Israel.
List of the UN resolutions concerning Israel and Palestine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But the biggest problems, then as in now, were there were no nogotiations to put the principles into practice by the Arabs.

It can with the concurance of the Security Council like it did when it transfered the China seat from the Republic of China (Taiwan) to the People's Republic of China in 1971. This was an important event because China also had a permanent seat on the Security Council. In a surprising turn of events the USA didn't obstruct this move like it had done from the fall of the Republican Government of Chiang Kaishek on the mainland in 1949 until 1971. This move was long overdue. A similar move was made in 1992 when the Permanent seat of the USSR was transfered to the Russian Federation with the agreement that the Russian Federation would assume all treaty and financial obligations of the former USSR.

Jordan does NOT offer religious freedom to Jewish residents as there are none there! Jewish residents are not really welcome there.

Again the USA is obligated to give Egypt as well as Israel economic/financial as well as military aid as part of the American commitment in the Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty.

Hate Israel or disagree with our very biased approach to Israel?
Israel may be an ally, but they are absolutely no friend.

Default Why do conservatives support Israel

The reason conservatives are more likely to support israel than liberals is because conservatives are more likely to be islamophobic and anti-Arab. Also conservatives tend to be much more religious and some believe that "God gave the land to the jews" which is why you get so many Christian Zionists fundraising for Israeli settlements.

I find this a little ironic, because a substantial portion of Palestinians are Christian and have suffered immensely under Israel's occupation and 60 years of ethnic cleansing. I have a friend who volunteered extensively in the West Bank and she witnessed radical Jewish settlers stoning young Christian Palestinian children walking to school. The soldiers present there did nothing about it.
