In any case, Congress could get to the bottom of this by giving her immunity and compelling her to testify. Personally, I think all we would find out is that she was the rogue employee acting out her own politics or seeking to curry favor with the current administration.

It wouldn't be hard to grasp if it were an isolated incident, but it isn't. There has been a pattern of lies and stonewalling. It's like the shepherd who cried wolf too often. No targeting was occurring, yes targeting was occurring but it was to liberal groups too, only Cincinnati agents were involved, other offices were also involved but it wasn't at the White House level, Lois Lerner was innocent, Lois Lerner took the 5th, Lois Lerner is on video tape admitting she was asked to do something about conservative money, etc. It just keeps going on and on.
That's not a solution. Eric Holder said he knew nothing about fast & furious. Then they found a memo proving he did. Nothing happened to him. Clapper said that no NSA domestic spying was happening. Then it turned out domestic spying was happening. Nothing happened to him. The only way that Lerner is going to suffer any consequences for lying under oath is if the Justice Department holds her accountable, and the Justice Department is run by a man who himself was caught lying under oath. Relying on the word of Lois Lerner is a joke. There is absolutely zero expectation that she would tell the truth, oath or no oath.
Good points about another "phony scandal" - so phony that literally a few hundred people have been shot with Fast and Furious guns - many are dead including a US Border Patrol agent.
Most of the shot people are Mexicans, so Obama on Univision, blamed Fast and Furious on Bush. How on Earth, could Obama not know that Fast and Furious was devised in his own White House?
What we are dealing with, is an administration so corrupt, that the leader is fine with implementing a policy that has gotten hundreds of people shot and then falsely blaming it on Bush. The Buck Never Stops With This President - he is a pathological liar.
How can we find the truth when we have a corrupt president, who refuses to take real responsibility for anything and can't tell the difference between a lie and the truth?

Obama tells Americans he has record numbers of deportations and then he goes on Univision and says deportations are down under him, that he started counting people that they turn away at the border as being deported to increase the numbers. You can't trust a word this president says, he even lied about the circumstances of his own mother's death and continued the lie after he got caught in it.

Corrupt politicians like Obama will always come along from time to time. We need to reform the IRS to make it less likely to be used as a political tool to help influence elections, silence dissent, etc...
The only way to do that is to outlaw public sector unions. There is such an incestuous relationship between unions and Democratic politicians, which is why the Democratic party has become the party of big government. The union bosses get to bargain with friendly employers for perks, and the employees pay union dues that go into Democratic politicians' campaign coffers. If the Republicans suddenly started advocating for the military to be unionized, then they would have a huge slush fund too. God help us all.
Emails ORIGINATE on a server people. They are not "saved to a server".
Actually they originate on someone's computer but once sent they go to the server and there they stay.
And Emails stay on a server..a copy goes down to your hard file.

Let me just state the obvious for anyone who believes this. Emails are not stored on your computer. They are stored on servers. Servers that are back up and backed up and backed up. Do they really think we are just stupid and are going to believe this?! What they said is impossible.
This is watergate folks. Cover up. You do not lose emails due to computer crash, end of story.
If anyone actually believes these emails were actually lost, I want to get to know them. I am in Nigeria and have a bunch of money I want to get out of the country and need someone to send it to...

It's twofold-go after him for perjury and, if the emails truely were deleted and no record can be found, go after whoever did so for consipiricy and destruction of evidence. Still, I think the chances of these records actually being lost are about the same as winning the lottery.
