The press in this country has reduced itself to nothing but White House stenographers, never researching, never investigating, never challenging.
They are nothing but the White House press release corps. Sometimes you can see the press pushing back and asking probing questions of this president or his admin, but all it takes is a slight rebuff or a glare from any White House representative, and the press shrinks back into their proper place, and puts out the dictated press releases.
