Serious question to those that seem to unconditionally back Israel's actions over the past few weeks: Is Israel at all to blame for the current situation? Or is this entirely the fault of the Palestinians?
the israeli attitude to the areas they occupy is as follows
the situation in the west bank and gazza is very difficult but it needs to be in order to ensure the security of israel , effectively , israel ( and its american backers - the overwhelming majority of americans ) support the collective punishment of pallestinians so israel can carry on in its current form

Since no nation called " palestine" ever existed, that would be like calling every one from earth a vulcan, it is a meaningless term with no application to either the jews or anyone else.

It's very hard to know which propaganda (on either side) is true and which is false, but the fact remains, if the Palestinians spent their money on infrastructure instead of rockets and tunnels, they could have broke their reliance on Israel for things like water and electricity.

Just as the Geneva Conventions are applicable and in force whether a power (nation, militia, group, etc) has signed them, criminal actions cannot be committed simply because of jurisdiction. If an american murders a canadian in canada, US law is still applicable as well. Murder is murder whereever it is; and it would appear you are attempting to condone the murders of the teens simply because they were not in their home country specifically - a lunatic and moronic notion.

As per UNSC Res. 242, the land is disputed. As for such an action a nation has the sovereign right to pursue criminals worldwide, just as it did with Nazis discovered in South America in the 1960s, or the US does with those it considers criminals. Many nations also have extradition treaties to address this issue, but not all.
You do realize that Fatah was formally a terrorist organization that reformed its ways which Hamas is not willing to do.
fatah were a lot less extreme than hammass but israel constantly torpedoed efforts to secure any deals along the way , arafat was corrupt but cynics are usually up for a deal , israels actions has driven the pallestinians into the arms of hammass , your dealing with a pretty unsophisticated people , through years of brutal occupation , its not danes or dutch we are dealing with , regardless , if you box people in like caged animals , you need not complain when they act violently , they have no options and nothing to loose at the end of the day , israel is happy enough with where it stands at the moment , it has unconditional support from america , obama is no different than any of his predescessors , he is only slightly different in tone but its lip service , the rest of the world engage in hand wringing
btw , i actually like jewish people ( not so much israelis ive met ) in most cases and admire the accomplishments of many jewish people the world over , i especially like how in the usa they beat the traditional american WASP establishment at their own game

Since Israel left Gaza in 2005, there are no New York or Russian Jews on any land within Gaza.
