Instead of relying on an Israeli news source for information on Palestinian demands for a ceasefire, wouldn't it make more sense to go to an Arab news source if you want to know what Hamas wants.
After all, if I want a clear picture of Israel's views on the ceasefire, I go to Israeli news, not an Arab source.
But---oh!---if you go to AlJazeera you might just learn something you don't want to learn!
Here is some information on what the Palestinians are proposing in negotiations. Of course, so far, it is uncertain if Israel will even come to to the table. (Israel has not sent a delegation, but says it will speak with Egyptian mediators after they finish meeting with the Palestinians.
"Palestinian negotiators in Cairo have agreed on a joint set of conditions to be presented to Egyptian mediators on how to end the war in Gaza, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 1,830 Palestinians, largely civilians, and 66 Israelis, almost all of them soldiers.
--- both Hamas and the broader Palestinian leadership will demand an end to the military siege imposed on Gaza, which includes lifting restrictions on the movement of people and goods through the border crossings.
----previously agreed-upon demands, which include the release of pre-Oslo Accords detainees, as part of a US-sponsored agreement back in April
----the release of about 60 [recently re-arrested] prisoners who were freed in a 2011 exchange for captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit"

You tell me. A stop to the rockets being fired from Gaza. A stop to the "terror tunnels" being dug into their country. That is what they claim they want, isn't it?

So after the last treaty, what exactly stopped Hamas from firing rockets from Gaza and digging "terror tunnels"?
