I'll say this again! Harming innocent people, and destruction of private property is NOT acceptable, and will not garner much support, even if the cop in this case was in the wrong! You are in the minority viewpoint. The American public would have been even further outraged if Obama did not say something to that effect. The Governor had to relinquish the entire police force of their duties. People in this country are sick of unlawful Cops and how militarized they have become.
Their only job is to protect peaceful people from violent ones and yet Police seem to cause more violence wherever they go.

Standing up for what is right and not allowing vicious animals to rule the city isn't stupid, it's honorable. Perhaps not conductive to a long life, but honorable.
There is a simple solution to that problem. Don't riot, assault other people, steal from them and destroy their property. End of problem. "People" that do those things are worse than animals. They make a conscious decision to do so...animals can't help what they do. It doesn't matter if they are black, white, red, brown or freekin' green. They are defined by their actions.
