This is a new one. How is aid to a Israel unconstitutional? Is the intelligence we receive from Israel also unconstitutional? Nothing in this world is free.

Well then we obviously suck at controlling Israel. How many times have we caught them stealing from us? How many times have they put us in a very awkward position? How many US citizens have died at the hands of the Israeli military? WE have caught them selling highly classified information and military hardware to China. How many times has Israel betrayed us?

Exactly and Israel has proven themselves to be the dog that bites the hand that feeds them.
Would we tolerate the same back stabbing from say Georgia? Poland? Panama? Oh yeah we invaded Panama for the misdeeds of its leader.
My point is Israel enjoys free pass after free pass and we get relatively little in return for what they cost us. Not just in dollars, but political clout in the region as well as the world. Does anyone really take us seriously in regard to the ME?

Would the U.S. have agreed to a "proportionate" response to Pearl Harbor? I think not. And did Pearl Harbor pose an existential threat to the U.S.? Absolutely not. Israel is asked to act with "restraint" when groups arrange for suicide bombings, car rammings and knifings. When SCUD missiles from Saddam's Iraq landed in or near Tel Aviv GWHB leaned on Israel not to respond at all. The "free pass" is given to the terrorists, not the aggressors.

The Jews ARE native to the entire Holy Land. Judea and Samaria were not terms invented by the Israeli government, they appear in the Bible as Jewish lands. Palestinians originated in Saudi Arabia and entered the Land of israel during the Islamic conquests which didn't occur until after Muhammad was born 700 years after Jesus. By the way Mesopotamia and Egypt weren't originally Arab all those were invaded and occupied by Arab Muslims. And Islamic Turkey btw used to belong to the Greeks. The Jews are the only group of people in the Middle East actually living on their native land....them and of course the Saudis.
When Israel buys fighter jets and missiles from the US, it does help our economy and provide jobs. Our aircraft and weapons are among the few things that are still manufactured here, maybe cause we can't trust China or India with knowing our technology and how its put together.
I do think Israel should be grateful for our help though for example we are the ones challenging Iran's nuclear program on their behalf and we went to war in Iraq at the behest of the Jewish community so that they themselves didn't have to.
