But in regard to your absurd comment--why, in 2007, would anyone pay attention to a president who, without provocation, invaded a country and started a quagmire called the Iraq War (the same president who said no nation-building) and also presided over a massive economic crash? If you are trying to rehabilitate the Bush admin's rep--good luck with that.

Bush can't prognosticate what he'll eat for breakfast in the morning.

The guy was a so called "oilman" that couldn't find oil if he'd drilled into a Pennzoil factory.

The only place he made a dime was in baseball...a place where no man in history has ever lost money.

Now they wanna make him out to be a foreign policy genius.

I guess "Look at this colossal mess I made - it is going to be really hard to clean up!" is a prediction of sorts...

Really--it sounds like it was his "Oops" moment.

Btw, Obama won the electoral college vote AND the popular vote when he was elected. Bush did not win the popular vote, and was appointed POTUS by SCOTUS so, in effect, he was the product of affirmative action.

We could've avoided the whole mess if Bush had heeded the Clinton administration's eerily accurate warning about a certain terrorist attack.

Gee, Bush fooked up a country and then warned that country was fooked up.

WHAT a friggin' genius!

Because strutting around in a flightsuit and waving the flag is what they want in a president. "At least he had the balls to lead" is what someone said in another thread, the one regarding if people would want the torturing failure Bush back or not. Success or failure doesn't matter, what's important is how your head of state makes right-wingers feel.

How would you define failure? It certainly looks like the Iraqi government is far more under duress now than at any time after Saddam.
