I agree -- it is absolutely cult-like that you initiate an I-hate-Obama thread every day. And they all sound alike.
But in regard to your absurd comment--why, in 2007, would anyone pay attention to a president who, without provocation, invaded a country and started a quagmire called the Iraq War (the same president who said no nation-building) and also presided over a massive economic crash? If you are trying to rehabilitate the Bush admin's rep--good luck with that.
Btw, Obama won the electoral college vote AND the popular vote when he was elected. Bush did not win the popular vote, and was appointed POTUS by SCOTUS so, in effect, he was the product of affirmative action.

Because strutting around in a flightsuit and waving the flag is what they want in a president. "At least he had the balls to lead" is what someone said in another thread, the one regarding if people would want the torturing failure Bush back or not. Success or failure doesn't matter, what's important is how your head of state makes right-wingers feel.
After 5 years of failing in Iraq it isn't really prophetic to say people latter would continue to have difficulties.
Especially after signing the treaty that would put a firm end date on occupation in Iraq.
How would you define failure? It certainly looks like the Iraqi government is far more under duress now than at any time after Saddam.
