When the revolution broke out he dropped out of school and flew back to Iran: not to join in the revolution, but out of concern for his family (including his sisters).
I often wonder whatever happened to him. I never heard from him again. I would not be surprised if, in order to help keep his family safe, he 'joined' the revolution by marching with his fist in the air. Perhaps he was one of those yelling "Death to America".
But I know his heart would not have been in it.

Funny, I remember guys from the late '80's-early '90's that were very In it. They went to
Brown, Harvard,Yale, and the Univ. of Chicago.
They might not at the time been yelling death to America, but I remember quite well
as a coed death to us
