No, he is not, he is the son of a public figure. One of these days both Parties are going to acquire a sense of Class and stop dragging politicians into their list of people to attack, or maybe not.

Did you share the same opinion when Palin's family was drug through the mud?

Actually no, because Palin and her family did seek the media attention. If you recall, they had a paid, TV reality show featuring the whole family called Sarah Palin's Alaska. The Palin's older daughter has also been involved other paid media events (Dancing with the Stars), if I recall correctly, but must admit I don't keep up with the Palins.

That was after the election.

Driller, in my opinion family members of politicians or celebrities should always be off limits, election or not, unless they put themselves out there as media figures.

I agree with you. However, some in the national media feel family of conservatives are fair game for personal or negative attacks while family of Democrats are off limits. By media, I'm including comedy writers. Consider how long the Bush twins and Palin's daughter were used regularly for personal attacks. This story is a news story that should get only a brief run. However, if all sides were even, it would get more wide spread coverage for personal attacks against the Vice President like was done with the Bush twins and Palin's daughter.

That just goes to show how little "juice" VP Biden has.

George Bush never got "discharged".

He got to be president!
