Everytime they have a bill they want to send to the President, send it in a package that contains a letter and polling data that shows the public support for said legislation. Then, release the letter/polls to the public. Simple yet effective. Let the public see just what you're sending the President to be signed into law. Then if he vetos it, the public will see just what was sent to him. Let him be the one to explain why he vetoed it.

What you mean like raising the minimum wage, or universal healthcare?

That is political non-sense. You always build support for bill before you pass it. That is why so many do not see like of day either floor.
