Kind of tells you that the people in some states are fed up with the status quo.
Go Saira. Don't let the stupid people get you down.
LOL, you have a point.
Let's review: An 17 year old wins the primaries and beats an incumbent Democrat just after turning 18.
I'm not one of those people who says that the "youth" have much to teach us. Not at all. I remember being a "youth" quite well and I was NOT smart or wise. Yet, by virtue of the fact that when I arrived at 20, I had worked for money for a decade already and was the exception, not the norm, and still I had terrible judgement and poor thinking skills - I simply hadn't had enough of life's experience to learn from. I had actually DONE things of substance, been a productive person that was crucial to our family's financial survival. I had worked dangerous jobs, done a man's work before i was 16. And so did most of the other kids I knew.
Given all that and the judgment limitations of a teenager, the lack of life experiences - and WE ALL KNOW THAT IS TRUE by personal experience - she still handily won an election for public office. I think the implication is that her campaign swayed votes from her opponent to her.
What it says about her can be debated. What it says about the her opponent says a LOT, a kind of earthquake level lot. The kind of "lot" that should (but won't) cause the opposition to rethink everything about politics, leadership, ideology, and so on.
Anyhow, it's pretty funny when someone runs for office as a "fiscal conservative" [quotation marks because such a thing doesn't exist] in a state where government spending is far and away the largest employer and constitutes the lion's share of economic activity.
I think it's ridiculous that an 18 year old of any party is allowed in the legislature tbh. That's not so much an ideological thing but because no one at 18 has the maturity to really grasp a lot of the issues they will be voting on. I also am not a supporter of letting people vote at 18 :-P.
It is just a state seat, not much different than any local seat she could have won at this age as well.
Imagine that. The people who insisted we needed to listen to "the youth" suddenly discover they think "the youth" are stupid.
Frankly, liberals just hate and can be counted on to consistently spew it at anyone in their way.
Progressives are nothing more than modern day slave owners. The believe Blacks, Women, Gays, Latinos & young voters belong to them. When one of them escapes the plantation, the rest can see that it's possible & the Progressives have to make an example of them.

You can and did read my comments in context, and had to provide a false take on them in order to spew your nonsense. Oh, and yes, by definition ANYONE on the left is a LWNJ. You have to be, in order to be an ideological liberal. One cannot be rational and be on the left today.
You are hilarious...first Dennis Miller with his psuedo intellectualism and like a good little soldier you try to follow in his footsteps..*golf clap*
There is no "war on coal" "war on women" "war on Christmas" etc etc etc..toughen up and quit your constant crying and feelings of being a victim...its very sad to watch and just breaks my heart for you.
And btw for the 900th time..I am far from a liberal on most things..you should read more posts than just your own over and over again if you want to join the discussions

YOu don't have to be a liberal to share their hate.
I've read lots of your posts, and if there's one thing you are consistent about, is that you are hostile to PEOPLE, rather than being about ideas.
