What do the parents have to say about it? I'd be so angry if my kid came home from school with that coloring book.

My folks would have been happy to see me bring ANY book home. Even more so if I would have read one.

I would not be thrilled about that either and I would discuss it with the school and the district.

That's what the OP does constantly on this forum. He/she takes some irrelevant news story and uses it to attack "liberals" and "liberalism." It's pretty sad and pathetic, but some people don't have any better hobbies.

Then get off the internet and get involved in their lives. Their future depends on what YOU do as a parent. Stop blaming other people and get off your fanny and do something productive if you don't like how things are.

Everyone remember to look for the Liberal, Satanic, boogeyman under your beds tonight before you go to sleep. They're always waiting to corrupt you and your children.

Satanic coloring book under review in Florida school district - AOL.com
Pretty sure it was conservatives who insisted religious propoganda be allowed in schools, not liberals. Please correct your post accordingly.

Maybe off topic:

I'm atheist but I think many atheists in the US are very aggressive and radical.

I joined a local "meet group" of atheists and attended one meeting. They liked to mock religious people, attack religions and say rude things like a bunch of rebellious teenagers, although they are in their 30s and 40s. I never went back.

The school district allowed bibles and atheist literature to be placed in schools where students could pick it up if they chose to do so. They are now reconsidering these allowances due to the request to distribute satanic coloring books. It sounds likely that soon no religious materials will be allowed in schools. I agree with this and I hope they choose to go in that direction.
