The PBS Newshour chart of Ferguson witness statements shows that despite McCulloch's claims it was not an open and shut case.
12 witnesses say Brown was running away when he was shot.
4 witnesses say Brown was NOT running away when he was shot.
The chart shows that some interviewees had 2nd and 3rd interviews with little or no change between the first and last.
I don't see how anyone can read this and still believe that there as not enough evidence or enough doubt whether this should go to trial.

Those idiots on the grand jury need to be the ones in jail!!!
Really, in jail because they reviewed the evidence and concluded, like numerous other people have, that no crime was committed?
No wonder you think the way you do, you are not for justice int he sense of a civilized society, you are for mob justice based not on facts, but on emotion and racism.
The only reason you think Wilson is guilty of a crime is because he is white.

Before I take you to task answer this, did you actually review the PBS chart, and what do you disagree with if so?
The physical evidence - the location of Michael Brown's blood on the asphalt and the location of his body plus the location of the shell casings - supports only one conclusion: that after running at least 180 feet away from the car and officer Wilson, Michael Brown stopped and then advanced back towards officer Wilson, and that officer Wilson was retreating as he fired his weapon.
That's consistent with officer Wilson's testimony that Michael Brown charged at him and that he was backpedaling from Wilson as he fired. 7 or 8 witnesses support this version, and frankly any witness statement that says otherwise just isn't possible. How much credence should impossible witness statements be given?
There's one witness statement that says before any shooting outside the police vehicle occurred, Michael Brown got down on his knees and raised his hands in surrender, that officer Wilson then shot the surrendered and kneeling Michael Brown until he collapsed, and then officer Wilson walked up to him and emptied the rest of his clip into the back of Michael Brown's head. Is that probable cause, or just utter nonsense the grand jury should disregard?

Yes, I read the chart before you posted it.
I am not sure why you think this chart means anything; witnesses lie, they are mistaken, they tell the truth, etc. It is known that a few witnesses were lying, it is known a few changed their story to match the media accounts.
But the most important thing is; the witness accounts of many of the witnesses do not match the physical evidence. This leads to credibility issues with the rest of their account. A witness cannot state "Brown was on his knees and then Wilson shot him", when the physical evidence does not support this.
Witnesses, unfortunately, are not very reliable no matter the side, that is why physical evidence is important. People have been put in jail for years due to witness testimony, only to have new DNA tests overturn the conviction.
The issue here is simple; was there a crime committed. The jury reviewed all of the evidence and came to the conclusion that no, there was no evidence to support a crime was committed.
Look at the Zimmerman case for example; pure politics. They appointed a special prosecutor because they knew there was not enough evidence to support a crime, and sure enough, the trial ended in a not guilty for Zimmerman. The fact is, there should have not been a trial in the first place.

Wouldn't it be nice if every cop had a body cam? That would solve 99.99% of these issues.
