Yes, I see where you're going with this. down a well trodden, lonely road leading nowhere, that 2nd amendment fanatics use, that means nothing, when given any rational thought.
You can'T accidentally kill your self with a hammer.
There's no trigger on a knife. Outrun a knife, can't outrun a bullet
Many posters on this forum could suck their brains out through their ear with a vacuum cleaner and not even know it, but that's not the issue.
You can't run over yourself with your car.
Many on this thread have their head in a bag of fertilizer with no apparent ill effects. Tomahawks did us very little good against the firesticks of the whites.

Yes...you are going down the well trodden road of no wanting to understand that it's not the gun that kills....it's the person behind whatever the instrument...
Remember, "blunt object" have killed more than rifles and shotguns combined....
Yes, I know this is a pistol...ahh...never mind...you won't get it anyway...
LOL...and this does what? People die daily because of stupidity in cars.....
So you think driver training is useless? Anyone should be able to legally drive a car licensed or not?
A license doesn't prevent stupidity or accidents, but it certainly helps to minimize it.

Let's say you're in a Virginia Tech classroom and some nut is intent on killing you and everybody else in that classroom. Would you rather the nut have a vacuum cleaner or a high-capacity, semi-automatic firearm?

Obviously it does not, if so...why all the accidents?
Why do drunk driver, drive? That's a law and part of training, right?
And lets not even go to people who just don't care about the law..

Like Ms. Valencia, an estimated 4.5 million illegal immigrants nationwide are driving regularly, most without licenses, according to an analysis by The New York Times. Only three states — New Mexico, Utah and Washington — currently issue licenses without proof of legal residence in the United States.

O.K. I'll bite...am I tied up with my face planted in the floor?
If his intent is to kill me.... I would rather he had neither....
