Banning any gun, whether 3D printed or not, violates the 2nd amendment.

Better luck next time.

Therefore, anyone can print a metal gun from their home, complete with bullets, and go out and kill someone.

Here is a video showing what a 3D printer is in general, in case you have no idea:

What do you think? Should 3D printed guns be banned? Or the files that have the gun designs or something? I mean, if it's as simple as getting a computer file of a gun and just printing the gun at home, all hell will break lose!
This is a fear based meme being promoted to control 3D printing. Decentralizing manufacturing and distribution is a radical game changer. The only thing more radical is energy production and distribution. The model is more open, decentralized and less co-dependent.

The only reason the gun manufacturing meme is promoted is to slow, control and regulate the access to the technology. Guns are a poor use of 3D printing. 3D printing is used for so many things and prices are coming down radically so are the licensing models. The open decentralized model is slowly replacing the closed hierarchical model.

Will 3D printing change manufacturing and delivery forever ...

They have projects targeting the 100 dollar mark for 3D printing. Aiming to get it into people's hands.

More fear-mongering. I love it.
