Actually it's 46.724 ounces which comes out to $567 per ounce. Police always use unrealistic numbers which makes it look like they seized more. High price would be $400 per ounce making the take $18,689.

The average THC content of weed back in the 60s was 3% - the average THC content in pot found in a Colorado dispensary today is 25% (and the really expensive stuff can be 35%).

You are right, the price is bogus.

We jsut don't know if it's puffery from the cops or just crappy reporting from the press.
