It seems like whereever you see in this forum and elsewhere when people proposes things, wants to ban, introduce or make changes; people always use quotes from what the founding father's thought and their outdated written papers, so-called "Constitution" believes and says. Those founding father's are all dead, and what they wrote or thought in 18th Century ago is irrelevant today in 21st Century. So who cares what a founding father thought?! Let people adopt to this Era's lifestyle and thinking. Leave everything Centuries ago that oppress people today behind!
It feels like you are forced to worship and praise dead people and an old paper!
Those dead people based those old papers on trying to fix thousands of years of failed forms of government. People still follow parts of books like the bible that were written thousands of years ago. There are books in philosophy, medicine, strategy and many other subjects that are hundreds or even thousands of years old. Just because something is new doesn't mean it's better.

Ok, I'll bite.
If you could model the United States after any other country in the world what would it be?
The founding fathers are a place to start... but I don't believe in so-called "strict constructionism", which is really another kind of libertarian/conservative fundamentalism (the Bible was mentioned previously and conservative religion has the same sort of issues, in the end being that conservative often times is just mindless and irrational). The people that created this country were not all of one mind about a great many things and separated from modern thought by hundreds of years, so interpretation of those documents is something that is inherently political.
