Casual conversation does not hold statistical validity.
You've proven nothing, and you have no idea what a majority of women think.
Isn't this a discussion forum? Most of our ideas are formed through OUR experiences, not a study by some foundation. Regardless, my initial point stands, just because someone wants or does not want a child should not diminish that child's humanity. Scientifically, abortion is the termination of a potential life. It is, however the law of the land and everyone makes their own decisions but sidestepping the issue is intellectually dishonest.

That's fine, but your claims of knowing/proving what most women think is just as intellectually dishonest. Remove those words (know, prove), and we're left with your opinion, which is certainly acceptable.

Point taken. In my OWN experience and in countless conversations with hopeful and expectant mothers, the mention of risks during pregnancy are practically nonexistent. Btw, I work for medical providers so the conversations are probably more frequent than average.
My apologies then, I mistook you for another person.

The mention of risks to you are practically nonexistent. That doesn't mean any of those women don't talk about the risks to other people. Also, plenty of women are unaware of the risks of pregnancy because women tend to not want to talk about their complications that they might have had during their own pregnancies to other women.

My experience is different. But then again, I only overhear my wife talking with her expecting daughters. She's very clear on the risks.

My experience is different as well. I know several women who had complicated pregnancies. You can bet that the women around them are very cognizant of the risks of pregnancy.
