Absolutely not. He just wants a clean getaway. If you let him have your money, he'll leave you alone. If you pull a gun, he has reason to kill you.
Once again, a gun in the home is 43 times more likely to be grabbed from you and used against you than to be used in self defense
Why do you assume he is not there to kill you.
What is great about firearms in the home is that you can use them before the murdering rapist gets close enough to get near your weapon. You would be surprised how far bullet can travel.
How in Allah's name can the federal government allow people to have guns sent to their homes withoutso much as a background check, or even a face to face contact between buyer and seller?
Everybody, from the most determined Mother who demands action, to the 50 gun arsenal owning... "enthusiast" for lack of a more polite term... should agree that this is a horrible idea.

I'd rather be raped and still be alive and able to move on, than to be shot and killed or paralyzed.

if an intruder is going to break into your house, chances are they are armed to begin with, and they are willing to commit a crime, and escalate that crime, so not having guns isnt going to help you in any way.
some criminals kill just because they can. oyu give them everything they want, and they decide to just be mean and kiill you any way. an the problem is that you cant tell just by looking at said criminal and tell if they are going to kill you or not, until they do.

I've worked as a social worker before. Most of these "criminals" only want some money for food or drugs, not to kill anyone, unless they have reason to fear for their lives.
As for Kellerman, I believe he bowed in to NRA scumbaggery. If he had more balls, he'd stand up for the truth of his studies, instead of trying to compromise
Thats funny never said I wanted to go up against the government just that I should have the right to own any gun any size the government has I should be able to buy. You have the right to not have a gun and you get that right because people have the right to have a gun.
The "right to bear arms" doesn;t protect any right, expect for the right to get shot in class.
