I do agree that America the Beautiful should be our anthem, with a slightly bolder rhythm. But, I am perfectly happy with our anthem as it is as it's about the story of defending an outpost as opposed to invading other countries. However, the pledge of allegiance is a creepy socialist message of fatherland over republic. I would be perfectly happy never transitioning to AtB if we could get rid of the pledge.
Unfortunately, BP went herpyderpy on his anti-military rant, and nullified his relatively good argument at the beginning.
How many liberals on the forum wil join him (and Bill Ayers) in trampling the flag? You share the same ideology as this guy.....certainly you must not find an issue with his patriotism, right?
