NPR interviewed a "leader" of a Muslim community near Paris this morning.
He insisted those fanatics were NOT Muslims. "Fanatics" was HIS label for them, not mine nor the interviewers.
It is interesting that he is attempting to distance "peaceful" Muslims from the fanatics.
He did admit, though, that he was offended by the cartoon, but not enough to kill people.

And that in itself is a problem. It is the same religion only taken to extremes by individuals.
So just say that they are not "your people" and go about your business until the next "incident".
Some may call you a hate monger for such violent talk.
I'm not saying he should be executed, just that someone may think that way. I do think he is a danger to society. I'm not sure how that makes me a hate monger, I didn't say about killing someone because they are Muslim. In fact I deplore using religion as a reason to kill.
Muslims hate me because I am not a Muslim.
I reserve the right to hate them for BEING Muslim, and following the instructions of their prophet!
Not ALL Muslims hate you. In fact, most care nothing about you at all.
But you are reserving the right to hate ALL Muslims. Because that's tit for tat, fersure!
