Ambassador to France is the US rep for the Paris March. Obama yet again completely fails at foreign policy. Going to a rally to stand by European Allies against terrorism is actually quite simple.

I guess Obama is terrified of offending his Muslim brethren.

The guess is pure idiocy. Not to mention, US certainly shouldn't claim to be a defender of free press... like many of those posers who lined up in the front of the rally.

But, drama wins.

Typical right-winger exaggerating the importance of a symbolic gesture. They simply can't be taken seriously on any subject.

I think he should have gone, but I don't think this is as big of a deal as some want to make it to be. It may actually be better that he didn't go since so much focus could have been on him rather than the leaders who did show up. This is hardly anything to be too worried about.

Had he told them to buzz off, yeah, it would be a problem. Best I can tell is he didn't. Nothing to see here.

And if Obama would have gone to France to march, the same posters would have accused him of grandstanding.

Hardly a fail. I am sure he placed some calls. That is enough for now. Let the French rally for a French problem.

I support the rally, just not the posers that these anti-Obama bots think were doing free speech a justice and feel US also belonged there.

Word on the street is that a line in the sand was drawn on the beaches of France and Obama was unable to cross it.

What's to see here is how to some people Obama can do no wrong even when he himself recognizes the mistake.

Obama himself has said ---

"Part of this job is the theater of it. It's not something that comes naturally to me. But it matters. And I'm mindful of that."

Theater and symbolism don't trump wise decisions, but Obama was right: it matters.

Here we go again. The Secret Muslim argument. Nothing credible to say beyond innuendo.
