The supreme court granted cert to all 4 of the same sex marriage cases today.

Same sex marriage could be legal in all 50 states by the end of the year!

It will be legal by force.... Most Americans are against same-sex marriage though. Some Americans have changed their mind (such as Obama) due to pressure and/or not wanted being called for "backwards" and other bad names. BTW any Christian who oppose homosexuals are false Christians because Jesus Christ himself loved everybody and said to love one another. He saw everybody equally. Judaism and Islam the only religion where homosexuality is forbidden and a sin.

Bit of a stretch but I would welcome it. In before all the "constitutional experts" come in complaining about muh state rights.

All I ask is that can we not have parades about it every year afterwards? I'm not going to challenge anyone about it. However, I'm also not going to parade annually about my heterosexuality as it's my business and frankly, who cares?

So they pass it, great. Now, can we move on?

Close to 60% of Americans are for it now. My state in the midwest is now 54% in favor and we elected a Republican governor.

What does political affiliation have to do with favoring same-sex marriage? I know liberals who are against it, and some republicans who are for it.

I myself have mixed feelings... the government will lose money now by allowing it

If you believe that Christianity does not condemn the sin of homosexuality, you are badly mistaken. Both the old testament and the new testament are crystal clear on this matter.

Can you back up that claim? Also even if it were true, people are entitled to their rights under the constitution.
