Only update I could find was that the 73 year old " home preacher" dad is talking. He claims his two oldest children , still at home , are behind this. Reportedly they want to attend public school , instead of being home schooled.
Complicating this is that one of these kids reportedly shared the industrial bleach with a friend who inhailed the stuff and became sick. And there's something about spankings.
Q. Byrum Hurst Jr., Stanley's attorney, says the complaints by law enforcement to take the children were aimed at a life style (home births, rarely seeing a doctor, homeschooling) rather than factual allegations that the children have been abused and harmed or that an emergency existed.
We don't like your lifestyle so we are going to kidnap your kids!
According to a motion he filed, an affidavit previously filed by authorities, following the search and after GCSO removed the children, didn't set out any facts of abuse to the children and only said the juveniles' health and safety are in danger due to "allegations" involving abuse.
He says a child is not abused by "allegations" and points out that the children were examined on scene by a physician and pronounced fit and healthy.
Kids ain't abused...judge knows who is paying his salary and must keep the state kidnapping authorities AKA Arkansas Gestapo happy...The judge might have kids of their own....could be next to be kidnapped.
The Judge ruled that there is probable cause to temporarily keep children, There will be another hearing on Feb. 12th. No one is allowed to speak about what has happened in the court room. The Lawyer said he was not surprised. The prosecution had time to put their case together, the defense was given less than 24 hours. He said we now have time to get our case together. Hal and Michelle will have visitations with the children. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
POS who kidnapped these kids need a long drop with a short rope.
I believe they also said that one of the children, a 16-year-old boy, has provided much of the information for the DHS case. That's problematic, when one of the children is providing evidence of neglect or abuse. While a disgruntled teenager is nothing new, the judge decided to leave the children where they are safe. They haven't been kidnapped at all. They've been taken from parents because people outside the family filed complaints, and when the authorities interviewed the children at least one child backed up those complaints. The safety of the children is the primary concern, so the children were removed because there was a possibility of harm. The parents will have their day in court.
Arkansas is a very conservative state. Many, many people homeschool. There are many preppers in Arkansas. The assertion that this is an attack on these people for their lifestyle, given how supportive the state is for people who want to live this kind of lifestyle, is nonsensical.
I believe that in the end the family will get their children back, though they might have to follow certain rules set up by Human Services and the courts, like getting more regular medical care, and having Human Services monitor and follow-up on the situation.

Guy is doing his job and using social media as a tool. Nothing more or less.
No one knows what went on inside the court room. None of us lived in this house.
I don't understand anyone who can reasonably form any opinion based on carp posted on FB, unless of course the carp validates one's preconceived notions, in this case, big bad Arkansas government is out to steal your kids.
