But Johnson hardly is skinless in this game. She's made a lot of money and notoriety for herself as someone who "converted" from being pro-choice to being anti-choice and then writing a book about it. And she's on the payroll of multiple organizations — Live Action and Americans United for Life, to name a couple — who aim to eliminate abortion, lately by beating up on Planned Parenthood.

It certainly doesn't hurt that, since the state of Texas has declined to join Johnson's lawsuit, if she wins, she'll net 30% of the proceeds of the settlement herself. Trying to keep poor women from being able to access medical care sure is a lucrative business.
So a book to sell, paid for by several different anti choice groups, AND a possible pay day of 30% of a $6 million dollar settlement. Nah, she has no reason to lie at all.
So she says anyway, who knows how true the story really is. Would be a great story to use to promote your anti abortion views "I was nearly killed by my murdering baby killing Mother!"

I thought PP was found to have falsified records to cheat tax payers out of millions. They had to pay back a lot of money.

I see you didn't listen to her. She forgives her mother. Don't blame the victim. That would be hard hearted of anyone who did that.

Abbey Johnson's lawsuit was dismissed. And they were charged for Medicaid overbilling, not taxes. Something just about every doctor does daily. It was only an affiliate in Texas anyway and not the whole organization.
Very little since only about 17 states allow for taxes to go towards it.
But it would still be millions of dollars. The abortion industry is a huge money maker. Plus some people think none of their tax money should go to killing babies.

I don't care if she forgives or not, I'm sure she is full of **** and making the story up .
