It happened at Nathan Hale High School in WI, and the school district has issued a press release today saying this quiz wouldn't be used again. This, of course, was after a parent complained and it got picked up in the news.
I could find nothing about on either the school or PTA webpage/ FB page.

That is good, if that is the case that it is real, then it was a poorly put together quiz. Though a legitimate news source would be nice because I haven't found anything except for a couple of forum links.
Ah yes, this quiz from a random school we aren't being told the location of is certainly grounds for it's own thread...
That particular question was worded poorly. Most conservatives aren't against the poor. But many openly say that it's a waste of tax payer funding to go to social programs. They say that. That is what the question is based on. That's not bias, that's just an example of a poorly worded question.
And what about question 4 on that sheet. The answer to that was conservative, and that's a statement most conservatives stand behind proudly. Was that not a problem?
This thread is a joke; a pathetic attempt to play the victim.
Actually, it seems to me more like your post was a pathetic attempt to dismiss concerns about liberal bias in education.
helping the poor is fine, but helping the poor that just want to sit at home and collect another check while they watch oprah eating potato chips is just a waste of money.
any man or woman that thinks that the government "owes them", is someone that should not be getting a dime.
when you rob Peter to pay Paul, its not "helping the poor", its theft.
some people need help, and I believe that private charities can help most of them. but to give money to a woman who has trouble keeping her legs closed and not having the fathers pay child support is just wrong.
Heck, I know that helping the poor has been a waste of money and I am not a conservative. I think "moderate" was the best answer to that one.
I think the answer is probably more like 'Ponderosa is not as liberal as he thinks he is'.
Anyways OP, it seems this thread is helping you to realize why the teacher marked the practice questions as s/he did.
