No they don't. A State may not make a Law that Contradicts any Federal Law that already exists. Discrimination is covered by Federal Civil Rights Laws , and Gays are protected by Law, no matter what state they are in. If what you said was true, States could make Laws discriminating against Blacks or anyone else. The Federal Government prosecutes all Civil Rights cases, not States.

Your welcome to go look that up.

Being Black is NOT a filthy, evil, UnGodly SIN/Lifestyle !!

These ridiculous stretches you people try to make....are not doing anything for the deception homosexuals find themselves under. Intelligent MORAL People know the difference.

As has been stated...Nice try, tho.

I agree..... Last time I cracked the Good Book open, being of color was not immoral, not illegal and not a sin.

Being a *** however..............

Just hypothetically...WITHOUT HATE SPEECH.
A same sex couple, Lenny & Bill (for example) are shopping around for caterers ( etc... ) for their up-coming wedding and they meet with one business geek who tells them that because he is a devout follower of the flying spaghetti monster, he can not do business with homosexuals. OK, so Lenny & Bill must go & find somebody who will do business with a homosexual couple. Now my take on all this is that there are LOTS of service businesses in existence and I'm certain that Lenny & Bill could find somebody who is willing to make the $$$ and not worry about any religious bias, and most people (I believe) would simply let it go and not hire a lawyer & make a big deal out of it. However some people insist on making a huge stink about it because they have been discriminated. Problem here is the fact that the LAW can never dictate the intent of anyone's heart. So why bother, If I were to run a bar, and put a sign in the door saying IRISH ONLY, and if you are not IRISH don't ask to be served here, you are not welcome.

A business is not a person. A business must operate within the confines of the law and has no legitimacy whatsoever outside of the law.

That has nothing to do with serving people in a business however.

No you can't. If that was true, you could keep out Handicapped people and Old people, and that's also illegal. However, You can do anything you want to do. The question would be what happens when you find yourself in a Federal Court charged with Civil Rights violations. You would pay a BIG fine and maybe get jail time.

Hey, If you have a business try that, and see how long it works for you.

By "one`s personal desires" did you mean the judges that the gay thought police run to hoping they will overturn the expressed will of the people who actually did set the rules when they passed their respective state DOMAs?

Marriage is a religious matter that government decided to stick its nose in.

If we were all treated equally, singles wouldn`t be subsidizing the sexual relationships of others.

Ahhh, But the beauty of this is that you do not get to make that judgment. Being an agnostic, I reject your opinion or what is morality, a sin, or ungodly. That's only an opinion, same as mine. The Law, however, agrees with me, and would jail you for acting out on yours. Intelligent, moral people, would know that, and as you said, Nice try again, but no cigar.

At one time, your holy book was in fact used to justify superiority of whites over blacks. Just like you're using it to demonize gays today

What difference does the motive make unless the same law that allows the refusal of service for any reason is to be used to outlaw certain thoughts?
