The emerging U.S.-led deal that would allow Iran to enrich uranium at a limited rate, with the restrictions easing over time, poses a “great danger” to the Western world and Israel from a “messianic, apocalyptic” nation, Israel’s defense minister declared Monday

Israel rips U.S. deal with

They have continued their enrichment program, in secret, and in violation of international agreements. No kind of deal or treaty will bind them.

Israelis should be the last to complain about Iran thinking it needs nuclear weapons for self defense when Israel already threatens every nation of the Middle East and even the Russian Federation with nuclear attack using sophisticated thermonuclear weapons that can be delivered with Shavit ICBMs (Missiles that can launch Earth Orbiting satellites) , medium and intermediate range missiles, cruise missiles, UAVs, aircraft (F-15, F-16, Mirage 3, and soon F-35s) and even submarine launched cruise missiles. Israel unlike Iran has refused to sign The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty or join other nations in te Middle East in a proposed Treaty to make the Middle East a Nuclear weapons free zone under UN supervision. Israel has stolen nuclear materials from the US and France, stolen nuclear technology and conducted espionage against the United States, Britain, France and Germany where nuclear information was compromised. Israel even gave the apartheid regime in South Africa nuclear weapons in the 1970s and 80s in exchange for uranium.

I think Israel should be subject to the same sanctions as Iran for introducing Nuclear Weapons to the Middle East and threatening the collective security of mankind !

Enrichment or reprocessing nuclear materials for use in civilian nuclear reactors, research reactors for scientific or engineering purposes, the use in medical procedures or for training and educating students in physical sciences, and nuclear engineering or for use in nuclear propulsion (The USA once built a nuclear powered cargo ship ) or powering spacecraft is NOT a violation of International agreements and Iran has every right to do these things if it choses!!!

Unfortunately, Iran has shown they'll use them, not as a defense, but as an offensive means to bring an end to the world and usher in the 12th Imam.

The USA did not develop nuclear weapons out of necessity but fear that Nazi Germany , a nation with the intellectual , technical and industrial ability to seek them and the mental disposition to use such a weapon would do so and use them to knock Britain and the USSR even the USA out of the war. When that threat ended on May 7 1945 (arguably it ended by late 1944) with the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany (what was left of it) the Manhattan Project ceased to be a necessity in defeating Japan. Stalin had already promised at Yalta to declare war on Japan 6 months after the conclusion of hostilities so the entire weight of an army larger than ours would be unleashed to crush the Imperial Japanese Army on the Asian mainland (China and Korea) and choke off Japans last major industrial base and sources of energy (coal and oil) and even food. By August 31, 1945, The Imperial Japanese Navy had ceased to exist, Japan had vitually no air force, Japan had no merchant marine and had virtually exhausted its last reserves of coal, oil and gasoline. What was left of the Imperial Japanese army outside of Korea, China and Manchuria was stranded with no hope of supply or transport back to Japan in SE Asia, Dutch East Indies, various Pacific islands bypassed by Nimitz' Pacific campaign and the parts of the Phillipines not yet liberated. Stalin was punctual and honored his Yalta promise to Roosevelt on August 8 1945 (6 months to the day after VE Day) when the USSR declared war on Japan and crushed Japan's 2 million strong army in Manchuria, Korea and had recaptured the territories taken by Japan from the Russian Empire in 1905 all done in less than 2 weeks . This was the opponent we dropped nuclear weapons on in August 1945 Japan surrendered to the Allies on August 12. So just how necessary was it to use nuclear weapons kill over a quarter million Japanese and subject a million more to the continuing effects of nuclear radiation that continue to this day in the small population of Hiroshima ad Nagasaki survivors? Japan was like a boxer prone on the canvas waiting for the count to end.

YES, as long as it's the US, damn right!

What piffle!! This is the same argument histories imperialists (and mass murderers ) and in modern times Adolf Hitler and Japanese militarists made because their nations and peoples were an exceptional race and lesser peoples should bow down and grovel to them. Ridding the World of this cancer was why we and the Allies went to war 75 years ago. Its too bad the world of the 21st Century may have to band together to do this again this time to rid the USA of this cancer.

I know this won't sink in, because you uberliberal facsists hate Israel at all costs.

NEWSFLASH: It's all the surrounding countries that have been initiating the attacks on Israel, not the other way around. If they're so afraid of Israel launching nukes, why are they sending rockets into Israel daily?

C'MON MAN! Nobody can be this ideologically blind!
I hate to inform you but the USSR voted for the Partition of Palestine and the creation of Israel and recognized the state of Israel within minutes of its declaration of independence by David Ben Gurion in 1948. The Soviets were one of the few nations to sell weapons to Israel in its fight for independence.

You on the right seem to think that failing to kiss Bibi's circumcised short arm is saying we hate Israel. That is like saying we hated Germany because we fought against Hitler and all he stood for. Israel like South Africa can be saved with the proper leadership and an end to its policies of racial superiority (i.e the right of return and instant citizenship for orthodox Jews) , an end to its theocratic justice system (supervised by Rabbis) , ethnic cleansing on the West Bank and Gaza, killing civilians in Lebanon and Syria and learns to live with its neighbors in peace. .

They already do. Countries interact and influence each other. We spend billions of our dollars on other countries for that reason. We have trade deals and exchanges that influence our economy and job prospects etc.

Thank you-Iran has reason to hate our Government.

But at the end of the day, we cannot force them to do or not do anything. We allign ourselves with MUCH more dangerous nations IMO-Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and even Israel.

If you view the world through realism eyes, yes we cannot force them to do anything. However, they signed agreements for the materials and ability to have nuclear power. They violated this agreement to research nuclear weaponry, and are now at a stage that they can build nuclear warheads in a short amount of time.

Prove your statement that Israel is more dangerous to the United States than Iran.
