Some folks didn't want Iran to get the Bomb, ever.

Iran wanted to get it right away.

Is it a "reasonable compromise" suitable to all sides, to let them get it over ten or fifteen years?

No, the mad mullahs want it because they will use it.

People just love to whine about Obama, don't they?

The US president isn't the president of the world. Iran doesn't have to 'agree' with us about anything! That's why they're called Iran, and not the United States of America.

It sucks that Iran is probably going to build bombs. But seriously, since when does the US get to control everyone else? Did the USSR have to ask permission to build it's massive arsenal? If so, I want to know who said yes to that because the cold war is entirely their fault.

Get over it. Obama has limited to his power, unless a conservative needs to frame him as a tyrant. He's either too weak or a king; no in between. It's very hard to take seriously.

This can't be happening.
Iran is a member of the NPT. They are entitled to nuclear technology for civilian purposes. This is not an agreement to let Iran build nuclear weapons. It is an agreement to place initial restrictions on Iran's nuclear program, then gradually lift restrictions and monitor Iran's nuclear activities.

The ultimate goal is to normalize Iran's nuclear program for civilian purposes and, in the process, normalize relations with Iran. If successful, it is a big deal for Middle East politics in the long run.

You are right.

Despite the fact that every other country in the ME is completely against Iran getting the bomb and aghast at the idiots machinations, we should relax since Israel with make sure they never get it.

According to U.S. intelligence sources, Israel is no longer capable of preventing Iran from building a nuclear weapon. That window is already closed. There are two ways to prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon: 1) regime change and occupation, and 2) negotiating a mutually-agreeable process for promoting civilian nuclear power and removing Iran's felt need for a bomb. I'll take 2).

Truth.

The US needs allies in the middle east, and Iran's current leader's first act was to reach out to the US. This deal makes perfect sense.

They would probably have gotten it from Russia or North Korea anyways, and then the US wouldn't have anything resembling a diplomatic advantage.

We can prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons the same way we prevented North Korea. And Pakistan. And India. And China.

Reminds on of the global warming deal with China agreed to; they get to keep building pollution for like 13 years and then stay at that level. our start immediately once its a treaty approved by congress. Called the shortend of the stick.

Moonbats screwing the pooch as usual. They will run away from this as soon as they build a bomb in a couple years just like everything else that they legislate as right and just. Here's just another great example of the moonbat shoot and run..
