I dont actually need much to get done in Washington. I'm not sure why you guys jump up and down and need someone halfway across the country to do something for you.

The self employed are expected to do so. Should politicians have access to coverage that small business owners don't?

Some folks are less fortunate and sometimes do need a helping hand. I'm happy that you are very happy and healthy and have no troubles.

They always had access. As a small business owner, I know this first hand..

Difference now is my insurance is now paid by the taxpayer instead of out of my pocket. Net increase in insured = 0

No one is suggesting we not give a helping hand.. strawman argument.

"Had access" isn't the same as "could afford it" I have access to a Bentley dealership, but that doesn't mean I can afford to buy one.

He took ACA exchange coverage because it was the least expensive option with the best coverage. Period. That makes him a pandering grandstander at best.

I'm not a fan of it either, even helped to fun constitutional court challenges to it, but I still have to comply with the law.

I suppose I should be thanking liberals for my free medical care now at the taxpayers expense...
You make too much, you don't qualify for any subsidy. Now, pay UnitedHealthCare its $1000 a month. There are a few trust fund babes, martini drinking shareholders in Bermuda waiting for their dividend.

Republicans have been in power many times. How many times did they offer a health care proposal? How many times did they actively try to solve the big problems? For them to say they will come up with something now is humorous considering all the many chances they had before and chose to do nothing and helped no one.
