middle-aged mom the cost of health care is higher than the cost of the pension to the employer.

For my pension my employer contributes 4% of my salary. My hc costs 19,000 and I pay 7,000 of that.

Cruz should introduce a law that cancels all healthcare plans to government employees, including the Congress and President, and sends them all to Obamacare. Let's see liberals vote against, and Obama vetoes this.

No, reasonable...as in NOT MANDATED BY OBAMACARE. See, the Democrats think Obamacare is SSSSOOOO awesome, that they exempted themselves from it. Now that Cruz has to leave the senate while running for the Presidency, he has to go into forced Obamacare...probably because he cannot get on his wife's plan at work.

He's openly mocking his supporters and they, like the dupes he knows them to be, eat it up. Priceless.

Hey Jude - he is following the law. Standing by his principles doesn't mean breaking the law. He leaves that to Obama and the democrats.

The only alternative; repeal and let the abortion die.

But Rightwing Land is anything but sane, as his defenders in this thread prove.

You can't make up the level of inanity displayed by the right. It simply defies belief.

A Senator cannot "shut down the government." All he did was stand up for his constituents and attempt to educate those low information watchers of MSNBC.

Tell me what you suffered from the government shut down? Other than those vindictive steps taken by the Cry-baby in Chief?

Just like any other member in congress, Cruz made that point during the interview.
